About Tennis

We have six Omni surface courts at the club which are in operation all year round.

Booking Courts

To play tennis as a member you must first purchase ‘Omni Booking Stickers’ to book your court. Stickers cost €1.25 per half hour or €2.50 per hour. You can book three days in advance. Junior members pay €0.60c per half hour and €1.20 per hour. You can save money on Omni sStickers by purchasing them in bulk, for example you can get 10 adult stickers for €10 thus getting two free. The booking sheets folder is located at the club notice board beside the reception.

Children cannot play after 6pm unless accompanied by an adult member, after which, adult stickers must be used. If accompanied by a non-member to play, then they must pay a green fee, currently €10 for adults and €5 for children.

If you are playing at night then flood-lighting is available for whatever court you are using. The cost per hour is €4 or €1 per 15 minutes.

Outside of coaching and organised competitions, feel free to book tennis courts at any time.

Suitable Tennis footwear and Safe clothing MUST be worn when playing tennis.

Coaching

Junior Coaching takes place between the hours of 3pm and 7.30 pm (varying day to day). For more information see the Junior Coaching Section >>

There is a successful junior tennis coaching programme in place catering for five year old and upwards. This consists of three terms based on the school year, with term one beginning in September, term 2 beginning in January and term 3 in April. Coaching fees apply per term and must be paid in advance. Each child availing of coaching must be a member of the club. Contact junior coaching organiser Jean Barr on 087-2804039 for further information

There is also a children’s tennis summer camp that takes place during the first two weeks in July. Children who are members can avail of a discount on the Summer Camp bookings.
